If you have a party, function or event in the village hall please send us a photograph. The Main Hall is like a blank canvas that can be transformed with imaginative decoration and we would like to create a photo gallery of your creations.
Please e-mail a copy of your photo to email@example.com.
Our Village Hall is the Heart of Our Community.
If it is some time since you have been in to Dunston Village Hall, you will certainly notice the changes we have made.
The Village Hall Management Committee have worked hard over the past 5 years to improve the facilities, heating and ambience of this wonderful community building that has been Dunston Village Hall since 1948,
whilst at the same time trying to preserve its unique character.
MACLA has donated a Defibrillator to Dunston Parish and this has now been installed on the side wall of Dunston Village Hall.
Dunston Parish Council has installed a new noticeboard opposite the Village Hall entrance and a bench next to the bus stop.
Dunston Hub donated £175 towards the cost of the new bench for the benefit of the community.
Dunston Hub has donated a new 10l water boiler for use in the Main Hall kitchen.
We are delighted that in May 2016, Patrick Packwood took up the post.
New Chairs in the Lamyman Room.
The Village Hall Management Committee are delighted with the gift of new chairs for the Lamyman Room from the Dunston Hub. The new chairs have padded seats and back rests and have been donated by the Dunston Hub for the benefit of Hub supporters and all users of the Village Hall.
Many thanks to Diana, Jean, Pam & Brian who give there time and support to run the Hub and donated all profits from the Hub in 2015 to the community.

The Post Office is now operating from a new room just off the main entrance hall. As you come into the building there is a "box-office" style window for the post office. Opening times are 2.30 to 4 pm on Mondays and Thursdays.
Many Thanks to Stuart Rogerson for producing a fabulous moment of our Medieval Weekend.
He has presented the Village Hall with a framed collection of photographs around a copy of the
Magna Carta that we used for the re-enactment of it's sealing.
This is now on display in the entrance foyer of the Village Hall.
